The story so far:
Howard Hallis and "80's Mike" Dunn will be manning the Command Center while I'm away on my annual pilgrimage to Black Rock City. Jonni will have started school by then, but will be around to lend a hand and crack the whip. They'll be running the show on August 30th and September 6th. I'm hoping to be back in time to roll into the Catch One parking lot directly from the playa, covered in dust.
I'm giving Howard and Mike complete creative control while I'm away. I don't know what themes or schemes they'll plot, but it should be fun!

Despite the torrential downpour in Los Angeles on this MLKJr. holiday, we WILL be open! We're double-checking on the food situation, and so far, it looks like Doomie will be bringing tacos for dinner tonight. Please, be very careful. Angelinos are notorious for losing their marbles when the water falls from the sky.... |

This evening, it's business as usual.
Our host, Von Schreeck, will be in attendence, regaling us with tall tales from God Only Knows. Marissa is handling kitchen duties as well. A beautiful L.A. day is paving the way for a glorious sunset. If that doesn't put a song in your heart, I don't know what will!
